Joe and Helen just want some time alone with one and another, but Brian and Casey continually interrupt them. To apologize, Brian and Casey decide to surprise them with an engagement party, but Antonio misinterprets an overheard conversation and believes Brian to be sleeping with Casey. When she hears about it, Helen drags Joe to the party site well before they are expected.—etmahoneyiv

Joe and Helen try stealing some moments of privacy, but keep getting interrupted by either Brian's updates on his lackluster love life or Casey's desperate pleas for money to purchase expensive face cream. Once their selfish behavior is called to their attention, Brian and Casey decide to throw a surprise engagement party for Joe and Helen, Casey insisting on booking the nicest hotel room. When Antonio first hears of Brian and Casey's pIans for meeting at the hotel, he mistakes it as an affair and promptly tells Helen and Joe. When Helen and Joe confront Brian and Casey about their "affair", they begrudgingly go along with the lie to keep the party a surprise. In planning, Casey refuses to take part in ordering the "big sandwich" for the meal even though everyone (Faye, Roy, Lowell & Antonio) is excited to get the 10-footer.
