    The Best Weird Cartoon
    I've been watching a lot of weird cartoons lately & revisiting Ren and Stimpy reminds me why this show is so special compared to the rest.

    It has a unique tone and a perfect mix of the comedic, the absurd and the grotesque.

    The story here is so simple: Stimpy becomes famous and then he and Ren miss each other. However it's animated in such a great way to show the nuances of the characters feelings - and perfectly sets up the absolutely unhealthy domination and submission relationship that exists between Ren and Stimpy. Stimpy loves the abuse and Ren relishes being Completely selfish and cruel.

    The way the show mixes in weird commercials and advertising breaks is genius. The opening of Log from Blammo is just unforgettable and I will always love the reference to Muddy Mudskipper's segmented eyes!

    Just a perfect product - this opening episode will always be one of the All time best examples of what weird gross out cartoons can accomplish!
