Storyline
Plot Summary |
Mrs. Pearce has been the sitting tenant in a large dilapidated house for 12 years, but her unscrupulous, greedy landlord wants her evicted; however, she refuses to leave. The landlord employs two thugs who move in to the flat above and start to terrorize the old lady; however, Mrs. Pearce befriends the two and, much to the landlord's disdain, they become the old lady's protectors. The two thugs and Mrs. Pearce concoct a scheme to extort £2,000 from the landlord by agreeing to move out-with a twist at the end. Written by Dominic Gallagher / Hans Delbruck |
