In the middle of a zombie apocalypse, a resourceful couple hides out in an isolated abandoned building. The woman is pregnant and the man is infected, slowly transforming into the kind of inhuman monster they are trying to escape.
Hélène de Fougerolles,
A fellow scientist accidentally escapes containment aboard a plane during turbulence. After she is gunned down by a security guard, she reanimates as a zombie, killing and infecting several passengers and crew members on board the flight. A U.S. federal air marshall, along with a police officer, a flight attendant and a handful of survivors, must ride out the horrific flight just long enough to stay alive.
The fighter plane that is dispatched to shoot down the airplane is an F-14 Tomcat. It was retired from the U.S. Navy fleet on 22 September 2006, having been replaced by the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. As of 2007, it remains in service only with the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force. See more »
it's not a "hard zombie" film, but yet it manages to have a few "clever" scenes while mixing along some humour (not always necessary, one must admit it), which makes this film enjoyable and pleasant to watch.
the acting is fairly decent and well accomplished and the storyline, though not brilliant and all that elaborated. it still manages to keep the film from being yet another pretentious zombie production, producing good moments of solid action with a couple of more "heavy/scary" scenes, though i wouldn't quite call it a horror film.
a good option to consider ;)
