A basketball game between the LA Lakers and Detroit Pistons is mentioned as having been played on Feb. 18, 1998 with the Lakers winning 110-90. In reality the Lakers lost to the Phoenix Suns 110-103 that night and Detroit didn't play that night.
    • Quotes

Mike McBride: [narrating how the murder took place] You got yourself to the ladies room, and you went down the hallway, checked to make sure no one was in there, hung up the Out of Order sign, sent the text message to Frank to meet in the loading bay, changed into your disguise, then, you went to the loading dock, and shot your husband. Then sent Laurie a text message to bring her to the loading dock to be discovered. You went down the hallway, purposely getting caught on the security camera, so that everyone would see, that the killer could walk. Then you went back into the ladies room, and changed again, place Laurie Carter's hair in the wig. After that it was just a matter of dumping the disguise, making sure you left the wig behind.

    Always a Mcbridesmaid
This is another in the series of 'McBride' TV movies that the Hallmark Channel runs. The series is pretty much in the model of the TV Perry Mason in which John Larroquette directs and stars. The mysteries, which are solved in court, are excellently composed classical mysteries with plenty of red herrings scattered about to baffle the viewer.

This one is no exception and the result is good, if not outstanding: the continuing characters have a bit of history, but the elaboration of the mystery does not lead much room for them.

The sharp-eyed viewer may recognize Charlie Robinson, who appeared with Larroquette in the TV series NIGHT COURT, as a judge.
