Today, Disney revealed new details about the forthcoming attraction at Disneyland and Disney World.

The timetable and name for the new rides have yet to be announced, but Disney Imagineering Senior Creative Producer Charita Carter, who is steering the parks’ Tiana project, said her team has been hard at work behind the scenes crafting an all-new story for Tiana and friends that will be set after the events of the film.

That process has involved a lot of brainstorming, planning and general imagineering. It will also include multiple research trips to New Orleans,

TV Ratings: The Good Doctor Goes Lower, Hell's Kitchen Takes Demo Crown
ABC's The Good Doctor slipped to some new series lows on Monday.

The series is airing into the summer for the first time, and with fewer people watching TV, the numbers are dipping.

The season wraps next week, and a fifth season has already been ordered.

The Princess and the Frog started ABC's night off at 1.8 million viewers and a 0.3 rating.

Ratings: Fox’s ‘Housebroken’ Premiere Draws Less Than 1 Million Total Viewers
Fox’s “Housebroken” might be broken upon arrival. The ensemble adult animated comedy debuted to fewer than 1 million total viewers on Monday, which had low TV usage rates due to the Memorial Day holiday. Still, thanks to the newest “Hell’s Kitchen” season premiere, Fox finished in a three-way ratings tie with NBC and ABC. It also helps that Fox only schedules two primetime hours on weeknights, while NBC and ABC program three. Last night, NBC premiered the Summer 2021 season of “American Ninja Warrior,” which did alright at best. NBC also debuted something called “Small Fortune” the close out primetime at 10 p.m. on Monday. NBC, ABC and Fox tied for first in ratings, each with a 0.4 rating/3 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic. NBC was second in total viewers with an average of 2.6 million, according to preliminary numbers. ABC was third with 2.4 million total viewers and Fox fourth with 1.5 million.

Disgruntled Fan Blasts Disney World For Changing Rides, Says Wokeness Is Ruining His Favorite Attractions; Hollywood Responds

Disgruntled Fan Blasts Disney World For Changing Rides, Says Wokeness Is Ruining His Favorite Attractions; Hollywood Responds
An op-end in The Orlando Sentinel slamming Disney’s “wokeness” has set Twitter ablaze with Patricia Arquette, James Gunn, Patton Oswalt and many others weighing in to defend the company’s tweaks to popular attractions at Disney World.

“Disney is in the process of taking the woke scalpel to the Jungle Cruise. Trader Sam is out because he might offend certain people. Every grown-up in the room realizes that Trader Sam is not a representation of reality and is meant as a funny and silly caricature. It is no more based in racism than every Disney caricature of an out-of-touch white American dad,” wrote Jonathan VanBoskerc, of North Las Vegas, Nevada, in the paper today.

The self-proclaimed Christian, conservative Republican first objected to a recent edict from Disney brass allowing staffers to sport tattoos on the job before taking aim at changes to Splash Mountain “because of its association with Song of the South,

‘Masked Singer’ Convinced Seashell She Needs to Become a Disney Princess

‘Masked Singer’ Convinced Seashell She Needs to Become a Disney Princess
“They thought I was Anika Noni Rose, Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Mandy Moore,” unmasked singer tells TheWrap

(Warning: This post contains spoilers for Wednesday’s “The Masked Singer.”)

Tamera Mowry-Housley starred on some early ’00s Disney Channel original movies with her twin sister, Tia, but thanks to her recent stint competing as Seashell on “The Masked Singer,” Mowry-Housley thinks it’s time she moved onto big-screen Disney flicks — in particular, animated princess movies. After all, judges Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger were all convinced at first that she was a celeb who had played one.

“The one thing that I take as a huge compliment is that they all thought I was a Disney princess,” Mowry-Housley told TheWrap Wednesday ahead of her elimination on the two-hour episode, which also saw Crab unmasked as Bobby Brown. “My nickname is Princess, and my producer from ‘The Real,’ her name is Rachel Miskowiec,

Anika Noni Rose has been cast in the “Let the Right One In” pilot at Showtime, Variety has learned.

She joins previously announced cast member Demián Bichir. The series centers on Mark (Bichir), a father and his 12-year-old daughter, Eleanor, whose lives were changed forever 10 years earlier when she was turned into a vampire. Locked in at age 12, perhaps forever, Eleanor lives a closed-in life, able to go out only at night, while her father does his best to provide her with the minimal amount of human blood she needs to stay alive.

Rose will appear in the series regular role of Naomi. Described as brilliant but cynical, Naomi balances life as a single mother with her career as a homicide detective. She’d do anything for her son, Isaiah, and when Isaiah befriends the girl who’s just moved in next door, Naomi’s thrilled, until she starts to

The Princess And The Frog: 10 Reasons Dr. Facilier Is The Most Underrated Disney Villain

The Princess And The Frog: 10 Reasons Dr. Facilier Is The Most Underrated Disney Villain
Dr. Facilier makes for an incredibly memorable Disney villain in The Princess and the Frog. Obviously, a bad guy using petro voodoo who also had friends on the "other side" was bad news, and most people avoided him, knowing they were better off that way. Tiana certainly didn't fall for Facilier's charming façade like Naveen did, and she was the one to bring down the big bad bokor.

Dr. Facilier is clearly manipulative, using people's desires against them, and he obviously has dark and dangerous power. However, there are several other qualities of his that are underestimated or possibly overlooked that make him far more dangerous than initially perceived by audiences.
