- Quotes
[Bart doing a newscast on a kids news show]
Bart: Joe Banks, 82 years young, has come to this pond everyday for the past 17 years to feed the ducks. But last month Joe made a discovery: the ducks were gone. Some say the ducks went to Canada, others say Toronto. And some people think Joe used to sit down there near those ducks. But it could be that there's just no room, in this modern world, for an old man and his ducks.

Very enjoyable Bart and Lisa episode
Bart and Lisa host a children's current affairs television show.
This is a strong media parody with good character moments.
The main plot contains excellent satire of the lurid material and sensationalist delivery of current affairs show designed to appeal to impressionable audiences.
Bart and Lisa are used very well by the writers to bring out the worst traits of unscrupulous broadcast journalism. Bart in particular embodies the level of falseness required for the role. Lisa's plan to teach Bart a lesson ironically written.
The b-plot involving Homer's pet monkey is a weaker aspect, but it has some funny moments too.
