Pablo is a young Catholic priest who wants to quit his duty but doesn't know it yet. In order to release himself from this predicament, he ends up making the wrong choices when he gets involved in a tortuous relationship between two older priests. This leads him to uncover a complex web of deception that will finally force him to act, with gruesome consequences. Written by Anonymous
Excellent drama about a young catholic priest struggle to pursue his calling to religious life when He finds himself unable to fulfill his own chaste expectations of holiness and blissfulness as he encounters situations at the congregation that will test both; his faith and vocation. The story is not easy to follow and although the dialogue is smart and the acting by all three main characters is absolutely fantastic, I certainly did not understand the ending of the film in spite of watching it on cable-TV several times. Unfortunately the DVD for this movie is not available for the US market yet, so I have not been able to determine if this is due to the editing for TV, or if the film just lacks a strong and comprehensive ending. I recommend this film to all seminarists and look forward to more of its kind for distribution to some dioceses.
