Storyline

Jason is an assistant campaign manager for a conservative city councilman. Katie is a college dropout working as a waitress. She doesn't know where she's going with her life; he doesn't know what he's doing with her. They both have a few things to learn. Matt and Deb are friends. They were lovers, several years ago; now they share an apartment. Deb's an actress with an eye on Brad, the star of her play. Matt does nothing - even though his parents just cut him off. Their constant bickering masks a good friendship, a friendship threatened by Matt's jealousy over Deb's relationship with Brad. Written by Michael Haverkamp

Well worth seeing
24 May 2006 | by yeauxSee all my reviews

This is exactly the type of movie that movie fans should support. It's an indie and contains great cinematography, and all of the production values are first rate. Michael Haverkamp is a very talented individual. The actors are excellent and the dialog is consistently amusing. The story is that of the modern mating rituals of the young, but they are no less interesting than the mating rituals of the old. The back story about the toil invested in the conservative Cincinnati councilman is quite humorous. I would recommend this movie without reservation, it is a great example of what can be done by talented people on a restricted budget. I have purchased it for my collection.
