Gloria makes a comparison of Fred Flintstone and Archie, ironically Sally Struthers did the voice of Pebbles Flintstone on The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show (1971-1976). See more »

Archie Bunker: That's a great picture there. That's one of the greatest pictures ever made. If I was the Japs, I would give that picture the Jap Academy Reward.

Mike and Gloria's final dinner with Archie and Edith
1 May 2018 | by Jimmy_the_Gent4See all my reviews

Edith is planning a big dinner for Mike and Gloria's farewell but Mike gets an invitation from his new boss for dinner at the Plaza Hotel.

Another episode that tries hard to be funny but is only mildly amusing. It starts off with a scene in the bathroom where all four characters end up. Mike even admits to Archie that he loves him, which is strange because that was handled as a bigger dramatic moment in the next and last episode of the season. There are few amusing bits where Archie and Mike argue at the dinner table for the last time. Oh well, just one more episode and this miserable Season 8 will finally be over.
