- While Marge spends a couple of days at Rancho Relaxo after she has a breakdown, Bart and Lisa stay with Patty and Selma, and Homer stays at home to take care of Maggie.
- After a stressful day, Marge has a nervous breakdown and parks her car in the middle of a bridge. Marge decides to take a vacation by herself. Bart and Lisa are sent to stay with Patty and Selma, while Homer is left at home to take care of Maggie. When Maggie goes missing, Homer only just manages to find her before Marge gets home.—crouchbk
- Marge attempts to do some errands out and around Springfield, but her day grows even more frustrated when she has to drive the kids to school, and Homer requests she take his bowling ball to be flushed. The final straw for Marge comes when Maggie spills her milk in the car, causing Marge to slam on the breaks in the middle of the Springfield Bridge, refusing to move.
Homer is brought in to talk Marge out of the car, but once she gets out, she is arrested. Chief Wiggum wants to have Marge convicted for her actions, but not wanting to upset the female voters, Mayor Quimby has Marge released.
After coming home, Marge requests to Homer to take a little vacation to unwind, and heads off to a private spa called Rancho Relaxo.
Homer then puts Bart and Lisa in the care of Patty and Selma (which unnerves both of them), while he attempts to take care of Maggie. However, Maggie grows lonely for Marge, and crawls out of the house, intending to find her.
Finding her gone, Homer is soon relieved when Maggie is found and returned, right before Marge comes back, relaxed from her time away.
