I'm only reviewing it 10 stars for that cameo, no other celebrity would agree to appear on the office just to walk past camera as their entire role

Valentine's Day (#2.16)
ComedyFan201027 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
It is a meeting with the new CEO on Valentine's Day and Michael mentions that he slept with Jan.
Poor Jan! But luckily Michael tells the truth. The meeting was really a good part of the episode. Phyllis getting ll the Valentines gifts from Bob was also not bad. Kelly and Ryan's story is also pretty funny.

A Mediocre Episode That Lacks Creativity and Charm
SuperMari0s10 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This is an episode that tries to balance humor and romance, but fails to deliver on both fronts. The episode follows Michael Scott (Steve Carell) as he travels to New York City for a meeting with the corporate heads, where he accidentally reveals that he hooked up with Jan Levinson (Melora Hardin). Meanwhile, the rest of the office staff celebrates Valentine's Day in a childish way, exchanging (or not) cards and gifts.
The episode suffers from a lack of originality and coherence. The plot is predictable and clichéd, relying on the same old jokes and stereotypes that have been used in previous episodes. The characters are inconsistent and unlikable, especially Michael, who is portrayed as a clueless and insensitive boss who embarrasses himself and Jan in front of their superiors. The romance between Michael and Jan is forced and unbelievable, as they have no chemistry or compatibility. The subplot involving the office romance between Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) and Angela Martin (Angela Kinsey) is also dull and repetitive, as they exchange a bobblehead doll and a key to his home.
The episode does have some redeeming qualities, such as the cameo appearance of Conan O'Brien as himself, who walks past Michael on the street. The episode also features some funny moments, such as Michael's video presentation about the staff at his branch called "The Faces of Scranton", which is hilariously cheesy and outdated. The episode also shows some glimpses of the potential of the other branch managers, such as Josh Porter (Charles Esten) and Craig (Craig Anton), who have different personalities and styles than Michael.
Overall, this is an episode that fails to live up to the expectations of the fans. It is a mediocre episode that lacks creativity and charm. It is not one of the best episodes of the series, nor one of the worst. It is simply forgettable.
