Back in Masara Town, Satoshi finds Shigeru, already there, waiting to partake in the Pokémon League. Always having a bitter rivalry with Shigeru, Professor Orchid tells them both the meaning of Pokémon. Meanwhile, the Rocket-Dan is trying to get inside the lab to steal the Pokémon.
