Three spirits and a demon scare the new occupants of a Connecticut house...
2 October 2009 | by DoylenfSee all my reviews

There's a sameness to all these "A Haunting" episodes. A family needs a larger house because the couple has children from another marriage. They move into an affordable house in a pretty little Connecticut town and soon the son and eldest daughter are the targets of what appear to be evil spirits. When the grandmother visits, she too is frightened by a TV set that keeps turning off while she's trying to watch the news. When it goes off a third time, she sees three entities standing behind her reflected in the glass.

Naturally, the couple has the house blessed. When that doesn't fully work, they call in a team of parapsychologists who have determined that one of the entities is an inhuman and dangerous one. Getting rid of that demon puts all of them through great stress.

Another theme that runs through most of these stories is the fact that all of these houses were built over Indian burial grounds. Wasn't that the whole premise of "Poltergeist?" Well done--but everything has a deja vu feeling about it.
