As the Ori invasion continues, Vala and Daniel must deal with their leader, Vala's young daughter, who is rapidly aged by the Ori to serve their purposes.

After the battle, Earth's forces and those of their allies regroup. Teal'c is a prisoner of the Lucian Alliance, who he convinced to join the attack but now think they were fooled into joining them so as to have their fleet destroyed. Daniel thinks he knows what Merlin's weapon looks like, but no one seems to know where it is to be found. On board one of the Ori vessels, Vala gives birth to a baby girl - who very quickly grows into a preteen. She turns out to be an Ori in human form, and Vala hopes to convince her that the Ori are evil. It's clearly not going to be easy.—garykmcd

Vala watches the battle on board of an Ori spacecraft and delivers a baby girl that the Prior calls her Orici. Vala is surprised with the development of Orici that grows rapidly, and she decides to call her Adria, who is destined to be the Ori Leader. Daniel is transferred to the Ori ship where Vala is before the explosion of his spacecraft. Meanwhile, Sam is rescued from space by Mitchell piloting the Odyssey. Vala's daughter is born healthy, but is immediately taken away to be raised as Orici, a 'beacon in the darkness' to use the knowledge of the Ancients for the Ori-fighters against the infidels, and grows up at an incredible rate. In an attempt to establish maternal influence, Vala calls her Adria, not telling that she's named after her wicked stepmother. The disastrous battle against the Ori fleet has destroyed or disabled most of Earth's spaceships. Just rescuing Sam drifting in her space suit is a terrible task, even with Kvasir's help. Teal'c is captured and tortured by the Lucian Alliance, which threatens to attack Earth. When the Ori fleet is seen near Chulak, Col. Mitchell and Sam join the remaining Jaffa in a desperate counterattack. The missing Daniel turns up with Vala, and they attempt to turn Adria against the Ori.—KGF Vissers
