Storyline

The Abbotts wonder what is troubling Ashley. Michael continues to be worried that Jill through away a letter from Kay's attorney and wants to delve into this matter. Katherine and Phillip have a meeting with Mitchell Sherman. They decide to file their petition for adoption in court. Jill reacts furiously to this news and races to the Chancellor Mansion. It's Jack's first day back at Jabot but when he learns that there is shortage of helpers at the shelter he decides to help Ellen out instead. Paul learns that he will be elected on local commission for being a moral stand-out and crime fighter. Lauren is shocked to hear that the new issue of "Contemporary Woman" has already gone into print and despite previous reassurances will feature Paul as the centerfold.
