As Peter goes off to war Letty starts dating airman Johnny Wyatt,a shop-keeper's son,of whom her father approves.However after a row with her mother about her baby Letty runs off into the night and is found by Helen and Kiley. They take her to hospital where her child is born and her father seems proud.
