Flint lapses into his memory where he recalls that eight years ago three men robbed his fiancé, Nancy Lee Davis, of their silver wedding gifts. During the robbery she is shot in a struggle and dies later in Flint's arms. He sets out on their trail. He is eventually wounded and nearly dies from an infection but is nursed back to health by Loretta, a saloon girl who falls in love with Flint. Flint McCullough's lost love
9 February 2018 | by See all my reviews

Granted that Wagon Train like so many shows back in the day was slipshod in its continuity, nevertheless Flint McCullough was always presented a casual love 'em and leave 'em with a string of women across the country he scouted. So in many ways when we learn about his former fiance who was murdered during a robbery in her southern mansion right before their wedding, a vengeful Flint McCullough was a bit of a jolt. He might track these rats down, but not with Nevada Smith like intensity.

But his bride to be Lory Patrick is killed by robbers who take the expensive silverware that was a wedding present. The three are George Keymas,Robert Anderson, and Keith Richards. And like Steve McQueen, Robert Horton gets them one at a time.

In the end his vengeance is somewhat abated. Nice story, but it didn't fit the Flint McCullough character.
