Billy the Kid is shown holding up a stagecoach; the real Billy achieved infamy as a gunfighter, not a bandit, and never held up a stagecoach, bank, or train in his life.
While freeing the pinned reporter, Bogg says that he needs a fulcrum then picks up a length of wood and uses it like a lever.
Billy is shown using his left hand to shoot the cans. This is a misconception created by a picture that was reversed. When looked at closely, it was seen that the loading gate on the rifle was on the wrong side. Thus, it was realized that William "Billy the Kid" Bonney was actually right handed.
The snake that Billy the Kid shoots goes from being a Western Diamondback rattlesnake, to an obviously rubber snake with completely different markings.
The whole premise of the show is that Phineas Bogg was chosen to possess an Omni device that allows him to travel through time and guides him to historical events that need correcting, but he doesn't know anything about history until he meets Jeffrey who fortunately has an encyclopedic knowledge to inform him of how those events are supposed to take place.
