    Storyline

    Edit
A father's heartbreak at his son's death leads him to partner with Eliot Ness to bring in a major liquor distributor. Charles Tarasovich knows his son delivered liquor for Sol Girsch and Ness knows it as well, but without a witness who's actually done business with Girsch, there's no chance of getting a conviction. Charles offers to set a trap for Girsch and Ness agrees. Girsch meanwhile has seen his business grow to over 500 distributors and now wants a better deal from those who manufacture the illicit liquor. He also brings in some mobsters from Detroit to make sure he gets it. —garykmcd

    Beecher Asbury in court
One of the things that we are likely to forget about The Untouchables is that Eliot Ness and his squad worked for US Attorney Beecher Asbury in the entire run of the series. This episode is one of the few that you will see Frank Wilcox actually in court.

What Wilcox is in court about is a case against Jack Klugman who is the distributor and middleman of a bootlegging outfit that has a big amount of small sellers from various little shops. Klugman's networked them rather effectively and now he wants a bigger cut from the wholesale manufacturers of the liquor.

George Voskovec's son is killed driving for Klugman and Voskovec comes to Robert Stack and wants to get even. Voskovec starts selling out of his place of business and then turns Klugman in. What happens with he and Klugman in court is the basis of this story.

The two guest stars and former members of the jury in 12 Angry Men truly dominate this story. It's a good one.
