Never Saw It Coming
12 July 2017 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

The problem with watching Twilight Zone episodes is that one is constantly trying to guess what sort of ironic ending will present itself. In this one, a famous trick called the Pharoah's Curse is the envy of all the magicians in the world. But only one man has the secret. So the newest phenom pushes his way into the home of that man as retirement approaches. At first he is told to get lost but finally the older magician deigns to allow the wunderkind to stay in his house, even to sleep with his wife. Of course, the trick is going to be tried, so what could happen. I really enjoyed this episode and will remember it.
