Storyline

The comedy segment is the evening news 20 years in the future (May 14, 2002). Johnny then shows a sign brought by two audience members - Hank and Janice Corda of Petaluma - which presents a message to Johnny using candy bar wrappers. McLean Stevenson comes out with his 16-week-old daughter Lindsey, whose mother he met when she worked on "The Tonight Show" staff as a talent coordinator. The baby was delivered by C-section after 36 hours of labor; he talks about his own medical squeamishness despite his parents having been a doctor and a nurse, and relates the car accident he had on the short drive taking his wife and baby home from the hospital. He also talks about dieting, and a celebrity golf tournament he is hosting the next day to support Los Angeles' Police Memorial Foundation for survivor families. Bobby Kelton does a stand-up comedy routine. Christie Brinkley first talks about photo shoots in the Seychelle Islands, and dealing with many bugs and large spiders. Then she tells ...
