Tony and Doug are 1836...the time of The Alamo.

I don't really know what to make of the previous reviewer here. He mainly says the episode is poor but then gives The Alamo seven out of ten??

This hour might not but one of my favourites but the ending is so powerful (helped along by the stock footage) and the whole thing has that wonderful sense of doom-to-come that Irwin Allen does so well in many of his TV shows and movies.

However, my favourite character, General Kirk (Whit Bissell), gets too little to say and do.
