- The gang doesn't believe Kelso's claim that Brooke can't be carrying his child. Jackie tells Kelso that this is not something that girls lie about. Kelso wants to run away every time he sees Brooke or when Brooke approaches him to talk. Donna gets him to talk to Brooke. Kelso again tries to bail on Brooke by climbing out of the bathroom window at the Hub, but Donna tells him that she believes underneath the pranks he is a nice guy and if he bails on Brooke, nobody will respect him ever again.
Kelso meets Brooke at the library. Brooke tells him that he is Scott free, and she wants no part of Kelso in raising the baby. Kelso is over the moon happy.
Immigration is going to deport Fez if his marriage to Laurie is found fake, so he must sleep in the Forman house, and Kitty can't refuse. It will be a surprise inspection anytime over the next week. Red isn't happy to find him naked in the shower. Kitty explains to Red that Fez has to stay at their house for a few days.
Eric is not happy bunking with Fez, who must imitate his ocean sounds tape to stop his endless candy stories as Fez cannot go to sleep without it. So, Fez ends up in the basement, cranky after a sleepless night.
Agent Armstrong arrives at Red's home to conduct the investigation. Red is intent on getting Fez deported but Kitty and Eric point out that Laurie could also land up in jail for immigration fraud, if the marriage is proven to be a fake. Fez says that he is an American now as he is lazy, fat and soft, and hence cannot go back home. Red says that he is mad at Fez for taking advantage of Laurie and has nothing to do with Fez being a sneaky foreigner. Red calls him names like Haji, Anwar, Tanto and Tarzan. Fez says that he can live with all the names, but Tarzan is a white guy.
Agent Armstrong (Dan Castellaneta) interrogates everyone separately, but apparently considers the bride too attractive to conclude negatively. Armstrong tells Red that if something wrong has been done, the immigration agency would only go after the foreigner and Laurie would be protected. Red starts to speak, but Fez starts to beg and Red decides to let it go. He attests that Laurie and Fez are married and very much in love.
Kelso believes that he should be happy now that he is off the hook, but he does not feel happy inside. Donna reminds Kelso that kids without dads grow up to be like Hyde. Kelso feels sorry for Hyde for having angry thoughts and violence and doesn't want any kid to grow up like him. Kelso says that's it's easy to preach when it's not their life on the line. Hyde, Jackie and especially Donna insists that Kelso returns to Brooke. Kelso tells Brooke that he wants to be involved in raising the child. Brooke cruelly tells him that he has no clue about what it takes to raise a child and refuses to 'take care of two babies'. Kelso promises that he still won't walk away.
