A Wonderful End
lsvntffn30 December 2021
THE BEST ENDING TO TEEN TITANS, I LOVE THIS LAST EPISODE, SEASON 5 IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST SEASON I'VE EVER SEEN, IT'S A SHAME THEY CANCELLED SEASON 6 AND I THINK THERE'S STILL A POSSIBILITY THEY WILL, I LOVE TEEN TITANS GO! BUT IT'S NOT WHAT WE WANTED, IT'S ALL COMEDY AND NO ACTION.

Cliffhangers... Gotta Love Them
heatdodgersfan9 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Great fan of cliffhangers. It leaves you wondering for more along the way... And that's exactly the point with BB's character arc.

Terra clearly doesn't want anything to do with Beast Boy. She makes herself clear: "Things change, Beast Boy. The girl you want me to be is just a memory."

The connection between both Terra and Beast Boy is felt. You feel his heart sinking as Terra tells him what has become of their relationship. And it's true. Beast Boy's heart was broken, and it is... Perhaps now it might be a good time to mend it.

For one, it opens up an interesting arc with Beast Boy and Raven were Season 6 made to be set in stone. Not only does this allow Beast Boy to flood again to the open market, but possibly find something that he never knew he had all along. Beast Boy helped Raven with Malchior. Added Greg Cipes (and Tara Strong) have been hinting that if Season 6 were to happen, BB and Raven would be a "huge deal." And it should be. They've sprinkled hints throughout the series that they had some sort of affection for each other, and it would end with Beast Boy (possibly) choosing Raven over Terra.

It redefines a "ship" in the series, but it also does set the end mark for the Beast Boy/Terra relationship when Beast Boy yells the word "over." This is the end of their love affairs and the Teen Titans... but perhaps it's not.

This episode wasn't to end the series, but was to set up something far greater... But only time will tell. It wasn't the best episode, but you understand where they're coming from with the cliffhanger. And oh boy, what a cliffhanger it was.

Feels like we got half an episode with an abrupt ending
derangedxzombie26 October 2023
It's great to see Terra return, and the emotional struggle that ensues between her and Beast Boy. But this story couldn't fit into a 20 min episode, a lot is left hanging in the air by the time the episode is finished which is a bit disappointing. It really could've done with an extra episode to better tell the story and tie up loose ends.

Maybe one day there'll be a return to this show but after the poorer kiddy "Teen Titans Go!" I'm not sure. It has also been quite some time, so we have to just make do with this abrupt ending to a great animated series.

It was a good story being told, but be prepared for the abrupt ending.

The End of The Teen Titans
xdracox-792-2475528 January 2017
Things Change is without a question, the best episode in the Teen Titans franchise. Period. There is no question about it. The emotional roller coaster than this episode can make a person feel.

This Episode was so powerful for me, that I literally got dizzy and my heart felt heavy every time I thought about Things Change

So why was this episode so powerful?

Well for starters, the connection between Beast Boy and Terra is amazing

And secondly, the message behind the episode. That things change.

The most powerful quote I have ever listened to, still gives me chills today

'Terra': ''Things change, Beast Boy. The girl you want me to be is just a memory.''

Just amazing. No further words. A truly chilling quote, that I will remember.

It gives a message that Things Change throughout life and that whether or not you like it, you have to accept it.

It also presents the amazing twist of the good guy not always winning. Beast Boy lost here. In the Final Episode!!! In your average show, Beast Boy would get the girl, win the battles and a happy ending.

Teen Titans isn't just another regular show. And Things Change isn't just another regular episode. It's a Master Piece to be cherished for generations upon generations. If I could, I would change the rating to 10 out of 10. This is a near perfect episode for me. And I wouldn't change it for the world. I loved Things Change and I hope you do too.

It impacted my life and formally ended the Teen Titans. No it wasn't a cliffhanger. It was an ending. A beautiful one. However I would love to see a Season 6. That's my life's dream, to watch Teen Titan's Season 6.

Well then. Over.
