Storyline

The Titans are back from fighting the Brotherhood of Evil. There is a new criminal running rampant, a creature that can become any substance it touches. Meanwhile, Beast Boy sees a girl that looks like Terra, and his hunch is confirmed when he visits her tomb and she isn't there. But Terra doesn't remember anything of her life with the Titans or before, only attending the local high school. She tells Beast Boy she wants nothing to do with the Titans, or to be a hero, and wants to pursue a normal life. Beast Boy sadly accepts this and learns that things change. Written by Justin

Trivia

In the comic books, after utterly betraying the Titans, Terra's own rage consumed her as she buried herself in a ton of debris in "Tales of the Teen Titans" #42-44, Annual #2. It took a long time for Changeling (Beast Boy) to deal with her apparent death. Years later, another Terra appeared, claiming to be a time-tossed adventurer from the future in "The New Titans" #79. Terra II made herself known to the utterly shocked Changeling (Beast Boy) in "The New Titans" #86-87. This "Tara Markov" believed she was a nameless orphan injected with the first Terra's DNA by Lord Chaos. But when the smart-mouthed geomorph learned she did not originate from a false-future, she feared she may actually somehow be the first Terra - the psychotic traitor to the Titans. See more »

The End of The Teen Titans

Things Change is without a question, the best episode in the Teen Titans franchise. Period. There is no question about it. The emotional roller coaster than this episode can make a person feel.

This Episode was so powerful for me, that I literally got dizzy and my heart felt heavy every time I thought about Things Change

So why was this episode so powerful?

Well for starters, the connection between Beast Boy and Terra is amazing

And secondly, the message behind the episode. That things change.

The most powerful quote I have ever listened to, still gives me chills today

'Terra': ''Things change, Beast Boy. The girl you want me to be is just a memory.''

Just amazing. No further words. A truly chilling quote, that I will remember.

It gives a message that Things Change throughout life and that whether or not you like it, you have to accept it.

It also presents the amazing twist of the good guy not always winning. Beast Boy lost here. In the Final Episode!!! In your average show, Beast Boy would get the girl, win the battles and a happy ending.

Teen Titans isn't just another regular show. And Things Change isn't just another regular episode. It's a Master Piece to be cherished for generations upon generations. If I could, I would change the rating to 10 out of 10. This is a near perfect episode for me. And I wouldn't change it for the world. I loved Things Change and I hope you do too.

It impacted my life and formally ended the Teen Titans. No it wasn't a cliffhanger. It was an ending. A beautiful one. However I would love to see a Season 6. That's my life's dream, to watch Teen Titan's Season 6.

Well then. Over.
