Trivia

Starfire's origin is touched upon in this episode. It was later revealed in "Teen Titans Go!" #46, Blackfire negotiated a truce with the Gordanians and willingly sold Starfire into slavery. This differs a little from the original comic book continuity, where to protect Tamaran, Starfire's father was forced to abdicate his daughter to the Gordanian slave traders. She escaped and found her way to earth, where she was rescued by the Titans. She learned to temper his anger with the help of Robin. See more »
