Storyline

While off-world, the team is attacked by giant insects, one of which stings Teal'c on the back. The bug has actually implanted a virus that converts Teal'c into a living incubator for hundreds of more insects and Teal'c is being eaten alive. The only way to save him is to capture another venomous bug and create an antidote, but time is running out. Written by Anonymous

Trivia

The location for the alien ghost town was the Plaza of Nations entertainment complex built for Expo 86. This location would also be used for the Season 4 episode Stargate SG-1: 2010 (2001). The structure, originally intended to be temporary, was declared unsafe in 2006 and demolition began the next year. See more »

I have to hand it to whoever did the effects work for Teal'c's wound and the bug. Very glad I was not watching this episode over dinner. As always, it's a treat to watch O'Neill's exasperation with Maybourne.
