Storyline

Lorne Cash, a retired espionage agent, is coaxed out of retirement to investigate the murder of a former mentor. He's teamed with a beautiful female spy, Maxine London, and the pair quickly discover that the supposedly dead agent is still among the living and trying to perfect a killing machine that destroys living creatures while living buildings intact. He demands that the President of the United States pay him billions of dollars, and when he's rebuffed decides to demonstrate his machine's power by killing the POTUS. Written by Anonymous

Trivia

The first episode, "Why Spy?", featured cameo appearances by several actors who had played spies in other TV shows: Peter Lupus ("Mission Impossible" (1966)), Patrick Macnee (The Avengers (1961)), and Robert Culp (I Spy (1965)). They may or may not have been playing the same characters as in their original series. See more »

Quotes

Lorne Cash: Adam, just give me a clue here. What are you doing this for?
Adam Quill: The President is a traitor. He used the democracy we preserved to make us obsolete. What he doesn't understand is that there are thousands of ex-agents out there - all over the world - people who can hit back, people who can go the distance.
Lorne Cash: So, basically, you lost your job and you went postal.
