Storyline

It's Thanksgiving and the staff all have plans but at a press conference some representing Native Americans asks the Mayor why there are no balloons that depict Native Americans and the Mayor says he'll get one even though the parade is the next day. Stuart finds one which is offensive so he has it fixed. But at the parade because it has too much helium it floats away and it's covering is removed. So now they have to find a way to handle it further ruining everyone's plans. Caitlin learns Charlie's going away with a girl who is not so sophisticated and makes fun of him about it. And Paul's mother comes for a visit and she's not aware that Claudia left him and he can't tell her. But when she figures it out, he says Caitlin is his new girlfriend. Written by rcs0411@yahoo.com

Could have been much better.

In this Thanksgiving episode, a group of Native Americans call out the mayor's administration for not having a Native Americans balloon in the parade. So on a spur of the moment, the Mayor advised that there will be one in the next twenty-four hours.

Of course this does not sit well with the staff since most have plans for the holiday. The Mayor's daughter is coming, Charlie is planning a quick trip to Jamaica and Paul's mother is arriving. This is going to make for a series of unfortunate events.

Stuart finds a balloon that was used in a KISS tour that is the shape of a giant adult doll. With some work, they cover the adult doll with some clothing that resembles what Indians worn in the west. But during the parade something happens that will be cause for alarm.

The rest of the episode involved Paul telling his mother that he is now dating Caitlin- but to be honest that story did not go anywhere. There was so much more that they could have done with the balloon story that would have made for a more interesting show. However, we are left with a show that when finished seemed almost hum-drum. An average show at best.
