A welcome serving of beefcake
5 June 2008 | by dinky-4See all my reviews

The first episode of "Smallville" provided us with a bit of beefcake in the form of Clark Kent, stripped to his boxers, tied in crucifixion style to a scarecrow post. Unfortunately the scene took place at night and the dim lighting didn't allow for a proper display of the Kent physique. Now, in Episode 10, we finally get a another chance to view Clark without his shirt and it occurs in the macho confines of a high school locker room. Clark, along with Pete Ross, is shown walking through the room, damp and glisteny, with just a towel looped around his waist. The towel sags low enough to allow a glimpse of Clark's navel plus several inches of flesh below this point. It's a brief scene but oh-so-welcome. A bit of beefcake is also provided by Jesse Hutch as Troy Turner, also in the sweaty confines of the locker room. Go Crows! Alas, Whitney is nowhere to be seen in a towel so the flex-off between him and Clark does not occur.
