Lee Majors in The Six Million Dollar Man (1974)

Goofs

Nuclear Alert

The Six Million Dollar Man

Edit

Continuity

The green light on the bomb's base blinks in unison with the warning beeper, yet it stops blinking a few moments later, even though the beeper continues to sound.
The bomb's timer is located on the lower front of the casing, and Steve rips the whole outer shell off the bomb and raises it up several feet to work on the insides. Yet the lady scientist glances just slightly to her right to look at the counter, whereas it would have now been high above her head.

Factual errors

During the auction for the nuclear device it is stated in the rules that each bidder gets only one bid. When the 3rd man bids 55 million dollars, the fourth bidder could have bid 55 million and one dollars and won the auction. He did not have to bid 60 million dollars. The rules stated that the highest bid wins.
The "missiles" portrayed on the F4 Phantom military jets that intercepted the antagonist's aircraft are actually fuel drop-tanks. The jets do not have any missiles in their load-out. The only visible armament is the nose cannon.

Miscellaneous

Steve kicks the door out of the plane causing the cabin to depressurize and Swenson to be sucked out of the plane. After that, the interior of the plane is quiet and calm. In fact, Steve and Dr. Broder walk around the plane as normal with with no wind disturbance, and no movement of their clothing or hair.

Crew or equipment visible

Striped traffic-control barriers are clearly visible behind the merc's car when they pull up to offer Steve assistance, even though the barriers were not there moments earlier, when Steve pulled the delivery truck over to the shoulder.

Plot holes

The young "truck driver" merc is told to roll Steve's red sports car over to create a traffic tie-up, yet when the truck pulls into the airport, the car is plainly visible in the parking lot.

Character error

The two baddies confront Steve at the phone booth, attempt to drug him, and place him in the back seat of their car. One gets in the driver's seat of the transport truck and the other runs around to the passenger's door, but his feet can be seen running past the door, and the truck immediately drives away. When the truck pulls onto the highway, both men are seen inside.
