Hank Scorpio was planned to return as the villain of The Simpsons Movie (2007), but the creators decided that he was too likable to turn into a full-blown villain. The movie's actual villain, Russ Cargill, is also voiced by Albert Brooks.

Goofs
The Simpsons move away to Cypress Creek and abandon their old house, yet only take one car with them (the station wagon), while the other just disappears and is never seen until the next episode.
