- TriviaJay North reprises his role as the title character of the 1959-1963 situation comedy Dennis the Menace (1959) at Greaser's grand opening. His failure to impress Bart is a reference to Matt Groening's dislike of the TV show which was actually Groening's inspiration for creating the character of Bart Simpson first intended to be a "harder version" of Dennis Mitchell.
- GoofsHomer is reading a biker magazine whose cover girl wears a bikini that covers about half of her butt. After a few camera angle changes, the girl is wearing a thong which leaves her butt bare.
- Quotes
Homer Simpson: My wife is not a doobie, to be passed around from person to person! I made a sacred vow, on my wedding day, to bogart her for the rest of my life.
Meathook: There's only one way to settle this: you and me, in the Circle of Death.
Marge Simpson: Oh, I just swept the Circle of Death.

Featured review
Some people just live to complain about things, by lack of a use. Apparently, this episode is bad because Marge throwing around motorcycles is like, so unrealistic. A cartoon can't have that. Isn't the whole point of the joke how unrealistic it is? Seriously, that's the whole thing behind it, and it's hilarious. That's the life of a television writer, all they have to console themselves are the tuns and tuns of cash. You slave to entertain people and you come up with jokes far far above average sitcom standards, and then suddenly you have people with no life saying that one particular joke is not very realistic. Get a girlfriend. Season 11 of "The Simpsons" rocked, and the show didn't sink like a brick until at least two seasons later. Best scene: Bart teaching Homer to ride by using training wheels. That's just good stuff.
