    • Trivia
Tom Jones credits his cameo appearance in this episode for resurrecting his career.
    • Goofs
Lisa says both Marie Curie and Pierre Curie died of radiation poisoning. While this is what happened to Madame Curie, Monsieur Curie was killed when he was run over by a cart. This is one goof the writers admitted to greatly regret.
    • Quotes

Grampa Simpson: Have you ever read "The Boy Who Cried Wolf"?

Bart Simpson: I glanced at it. Boy cries wolf, has a few laughs... I forget how it ends.

Grampa Simpson: [does an annoyed grunt as he approaches a red light] Bart, is that light green?

      Bart Simpson: Yep!

      Grampa Simpson: It better be!

[Grampa runs the red light as a pedestrian yells at him]

    • Alternate versions
In the episode where the wolf attacks the school, Bart is trying to get out of a test. In the original version, he claims he has Tourette's syndrome and breaks into an alternate voice "Shove it, witch." In syndication the disease is changed to rabies, earlier versions containing the "witch" quote, and later versions omitting it entirely.

Homer and Marge working together at the Power Plant? Blame it on Tibor
This episode is about the Simpson family house having foundation problems. Marge gets a job at the Power Plant to pay for the necessary repairs. Things get complicated when Mr. Burns becomes obsessed with her.

There are a lot of things to like about this episode. Both Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz make an appearance. Tom Jones is one of the greatest musical guest stars they've had on the show, and was supposedly a joy to work with. This is also a great Mr. Burns episode. Groundskeeper Willie has a very funny part as well.

Season 4 has great episode after great episode. This is certainly one of them.
