Storyline

When the school goes on an archaeological dig and unearths what appears to be the skeleton of an angel,Lisa courts controversy by doubting its authenticity, leading to a heated debate between skeptics and believers. When the angel is found to carry the words Prepare for the End,the townsfolk fear that their days are numbered but Lisa is exonerated when the whole exercise proves to be no more than an advertisement for a new shopping mall. Enough stupid to go around
11 September 2017 | by Mr-FusionSee all my reviews

I know I've said this before, but there are always solid laughs to be had at the expense of the people of Springfield. 'Lisa the Skeptic' is a testament to this, pitting her brains against the town's ignorance.

I like the plot twist in the last remaining moments, hopelessly cynical and really the only way to solve the mystery of an angelic skeleton. But more than that, I loved that the writers didn't end on that, but a moment of sweetness between Lisa and Marge instead.
