- TriviaThe episode's title was pitched by Ron Hauge, who based it on the T-shirt slogan I'm with stupid. However, Hauge later found out that the title had already been used before for an episode of another television series. However, he did not believe that copyright issues would arise: "It's a very innocent mistake," Hauge said in the DVD commentary for the episode. "It is one of those things that, in the course of a career, you're gonna be on both sides of that, so nobody ever sues on it."
- Quotes
Apu: Elton John.
Elton John: That's my name. Well, not really.
Apu: I hate to sound like a screaming fan, but...
[plane flies just overhead them]
Elton John: That maniac nearly killed us.
Apu: Shall I "Take You to the Pilot?" You see, because that is your song.
Elton John: I hear you.
Apu: Yes, "Somebody Saved Your Life Tonight."
Elton John: Cut it out.
Apu: Oh, well, "The Bitch is Back."

Featured review
Apu is in the doghouse and is trying to make it up to his wife. He goes to extravagant efforts to make up for past transgressions. Homer decides Apu is making all the husbands look bad and sets out to ruin his efforts with bar crowd. Things get crazy but they really aren't funny. I agree with the guy who pointed out that when a show deals with a holiday the writing gets weak. It is an animated show and it seems that most of what we see is cliched. It's really old time cartoon stuff that we've seen a hundred times. Of course, we know that Homer will land on his feet at the end (or his face). Just not up to what we expect.
