Rodney Dangerfield made a few key changes to his script during the recording of his part; Josh Weinstein kept the annotated script and pen and considers them among his three most prized The Simpsons possessions.

Goofs
In Mr. Burn's flashback to 1939 he and Lily Bancroft are kicked out of a screening of Gone with the Wind (1939), a film which did not open until open for general release until 1940.

Good to Hear Rodney

Of all the unlikely things, choosing a Rodney Dangerfield look alike to be Burns's son is really cool. The old man is so sour; the opposite of his son. Best part of the episode is the explanation as to how he came to be born of Burns' dalliance. There are some good one liners. Dangerfield was a true one of a kind gem.
