The pathologists investigate a case involving a people smuggling operation gone wrong. A boat is found washed up on shore with four bodies. They're not sure who the smugglers and who the passengers are but from the evidence, it's believed that at least three adults and one child may have left the scene. When a young boy finds a severed hand with the tattoo of a snake's head, the police believe the case may involve a known Chinese people smuggling ring. The case takes an even more serious turn when it's determined that one of the victims may have died of hemorrhagic fever.
