Sheena unchained
29 March 2014 | by unbrokenmetalSee all my reviews

A slave trader abducts Kali because in the east, he will be paid well for a real shaman. When he says unbelievingly: 'Even in chains, you act as if you are in control!', Kali responds: 'The person in chains has lost everything and therefore has complete freedom in her soul.' Sheena goes after her, nonetheless, to free her from these chains.

Simple story, a person abducted has to be brought back home. But still this episode has a lot to offer. One of the bad guys feels remorse and wants to find himself a new line of work, that means the characters are not simply good and bad, but have shades of gray. Also we get the most unusual transformation scene so far, when Sheena turns into a mouse. That is really helpful not only to run and hide, but also to take a bite on a cable! Thoroughly enjoyable episode.
