- Carrie must confront her past with Big when she runs into Natasha (Bridget Moynahan), Big's wife. Carrie was already super upset to hear about their wedding in the newspaper, where it was made out to be a big thing. Carrie considers Natasha to be too perfect. She is stylish, looks spectacular, understands Big and Carrie is jealous and intimidated of her. Carrie is the sex column they run next to penile implants. Carrie accidentally runs into Natasha at the changing section of a retailer. Carrie figures they are both attending the same "Women in the Arts" lunch during the week. Natasha is on the committee while Carrie is a member. Carrie panics and calls Samantha as she had misplaced the invitation as she never went to that particular event in the past. Samantha gets Carrie in and decides to join her to show her moral support in front of Natasha.
Miranda hires Magda (Lynn Cohen), an Eastern European maid with very traditional values. Magda like to drink tea in little cups, but Miranda prefers coffee in a large mug. Magda says women are supposed to bake pies. She finds Miranda's vibrators and condoms. Magda throws them out and replaces it with an idol of the virgin Mary. Miranda yells at Magda for judging her. Miranda says that she is a 34-year-old single woman in New York, and she does not need to apologize for that. She buys pies, and she drinks coffee and has battery operated devices and if Magda cannot deal with this, then she should quit. The next day her vibrators and condoms are back.
Charlotte deals with some of her body issues at a spa. She is very conscious about her body and thinks women are staring at her and finding flaws with her physical appearance. As such, she cannot get naked in front of them. Charlotte hates her thighs, and she believes that other women are judging her on account of that physical flaw. Charlotte ends up giving a pep talk to Carrie about body image, after she frets about being perfect in front of Natasha. Charlotte tells Carrie that she does not need perfect shoes and a great dress to make herself look good. Carri is stunning, intelligent and funny. Carrie tells Charlotte to apply that philosophy to herself. But then Charlotte applies her talk to herself and faces her fears by entering the spa naked. A customer compliments her breasts and that improves her confidence.
Samantha gets banned from Helena Rubinstein. One of the customers tells Samantha that a particular masseur Kevin (Christopher Sieber) gives head. Samantha is very keen to try him. At her appointment, Kevin won't give her head. With 15 mins left on the clock, she grabs his junk and gets reported for sexual harassment. Kevin is fired when Samantha reports that he went down on their other customers.
Carrie spends a fortune on dress and shoes to look effortlessly perfect for her lunch meeting with Natasha. But on the day, she is told that Natasha had a cold and didn't turn up to the event. Natasha sends a handwritten to Carrie apologizing for not attending and misspells there as "their".. That makes Carrie feel better that Natasha is an idiot.
