Storyline

Elaine loans Mr. Pitt's expensive tennis racket to an executive from Doubleday who hints there may be a job opening for Elaine soon. When the woman injures her arm, Elaine can't quite get the racket back. Jerry's girlfriend never smiles or laughs at his jokes but her roommate laughs at everything he says so he contemplates the switch. George comes up with an idea as to how he might get away with it. George's girlfriend, a model, eats like a horse but never puts on weight. Kramer suggests she might be bulimic. The gang learns Kramer's first name, thanks to his mom Babs. Written by garykmcd

Trivia

We learn in this episode that George (Jason Alexander) dislikes women who vomit after they have eaten, yet back in episode 3.16, Seinfeld: The Fix Up (1992), he actually dated Elaine's (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) friend, who Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) told him "she likes to throw up." See more »

Just one great storyline out of 4
6 May 2016 | by juanmaffeoSee all my reviews

Another incredibly overrated Seinfeld episode. This one suffers from the same problem that "The Marine Biologist" had. Yes it has ONE amazingly, astonishing, impossibly perfect storyline and that's it! I'm sorry but in an episode with four story lines, one being awesome and the other three sucking, it's amazing to me that it has a 9.1 rating on this network. Unbelievable.

Elaine's story is boring, Kramer's is so incredibly lame that the only thing I remember is his name being revealed and George's is kind of funny but it isn't great.

Yes, the switch storyline has one of the best dialogue in the entire series but Seinfeld is great and iconic because of the way they can interact all story lines in a perfect way and not for writing great dialogue and disconnected scenes.
