Storyline

While sitting in the coffee shop, Jerry and George resolve to grow up and take life more seriously. Jerry decides to call the woman he recently broke up with - because she shushed him. For his part, George has been thinking a lot about his former girlfriend Susan. After imagining the ideal life they could have together, he goes to her apartment and proposes. She accepts and George almost immediately begins to have second thoughts, especially after Jerry breaks up with his girlfriend a second time. Elaine meanwhile is having trouble with a neighbor's barking dog and enlists the help of two professionals to get rid of the problem: Kramer and Newman. Written by garykmcd

Trivia

The scene where Elaine screams out her window at the barking dog was shot the day before the audience taping. Julia screamed so hard take after take that it affected her voice. This is why she sounds so hoarse in most of the remaining scenes. Her real-life laryingitis had to be added to the script. See more »

Quotes

Jerry Seinfeld: [after George tells Jerry he's marrying Susan] Hey, wait a second. Wait a second. ! How about some champagne?
George Costanza: Champagne?
Jerry Seinfeld: Yes, come on! How often do you get engaged? Come on!
[Jerry looks around his kitchen for champagne]
George Costanza: Okay! Alright!
Jerry Seinfeld: [after he can't find any champagne] You know what? No champagne. I'll see you later.

We're not men, we're children

What to expect from this episode from the previous ones? Will we see the similar shallow obnoxious behavior which normal people will resent or will we see something indifferent now. Is Jerry and George about to change their attitude and grow up and be more mature about life and relationship. The best thing to do is find out through the twenty four minutes of this startup of season seven. Only thing to be aware of that it has some of the best moments of the series.
