- Elaine buys a friend a bra. Jerry and Kramer take care of George's car while he's away at Susan's family cottage.
- Elaine's floozy former ex-roommate Sue Ellen Mischkie returns. George locks his keys in his car and leaves it in the Yankees parking lot. Elaine, out of spite, buys Sue Ellen a bra for a birthday gift as she has never worn one. George, having successfully convinced Wilhelm and Steinbrenner that he's putting in extra hours, decides to skip town with Susan after learning that her father rebuilt the cabin. So George asks Kramer and Jerry to go to Yankee Stadium and take the fliers off of his car. The car is really dirty, and Jerry and Kramer decide to go take it to the car wash. But along the way, they see Sue Ellen wearing the bra as a top. Jerry and Kramer get distracted and crash George's car. They return the damaged car back to Yankee Stadium. Steinbrenner, having seen the damage, and with George nowhere in sight, thinks George is dead. Kramer injures his arm in the accident, and his golf game is ruined. Elaine decides that Sue Ellen is a menace to society, and Kramer hires smooth-talking attorney Jackie Chiles to represent them. Unfortunately, the trial is jeopardized when Kramer asks Stan The Caddy for advice.—halo1k
- Elaine plots a little revenge against old nemesis Sue Ellen Mishckie who many years before had lured Elaine's boyfriend away by going bra-less. It seems fitting that she would give her a bra as a present which she takes to wearing as a top. George meanwhile is trying to finagle a promotion at work and leaves his car there to have his bosses think that he's putting in a lot of extra hours. In fact he's off for the weekend with his girlfriend and gets Jerry to make sure there are no fliers on the windshield. Jerry and Kramer take the car to be washed but on the way back to the parking lot, see the bra-wearing Sue Ellen walking down the street. Kramer sues the woman after he's injured in the ensuring crash, affecting his golf game.—garykmcd
- Kramer befriends a Caddy, Stan (Armin Shimerman), who helps him improve his golf game and offers him other advice. George leaves his car at work, and Mr. Wilhelm (Richard Herd) and George Steinbrenner (Larry David) think he's been working extra hard. In reality, George had lost the keys to the car & had to wait 3 days for his new locksmith membership to kick in (so he never took the car out of the parking lot at his office). Because of their misunderstanding both Wilhelm and Steinbrenner are considering George for a promotion. Elaine encounters Sue Ellen Mischke (Brenda Strong), an old high school friend-turned-nemesis who is now an heiress to the Oh Henry! candy bar fortune and a "braless wonder". After Elaine gives Sue Ellen a bra as a gift, Sue Ellen starts wearing it only without a top.
George decides to leave town for a few days with Susan, with his car still in the office parking lot. He asks Jerry to go there and remove fliers from the car (which would have been left on it by local restaurants). Having to take George's car to a car wash since it was covered by bird droppings, which would indicate that George is not working, Kramer and Jerry get into an accident when they are both distracted by bra-clad Sue Ellen; Jerry still manages to return the destroyed car. Kramer injures his arm in the accident. Finding the car in this state, with blood from the accident, all of George's co-workers think that George got into a bad accident. Mr. Wilhelm tells Steinbrenner, and they begin an immediate search for George. When they can't find him, Steinbrenner declares him dead. He then goes to George's parents and tells them the news, which makes them distraught. Jerry gets a call from them, and he immediately gets a call from George; he tells him what happened to the car. George decides to do something about situation, but not tell his parents that he is alive ("They could use a break"). When George later returns to work, with fake injuries, he finds out he didn't get the position of assistant manager, which he was trying to achieve since he left his car in the parking lot.
Kramer, who has injured his left arm (and consequently has lost his golf swing), under Elaine's advice, takes Sue Ellen to court for damages after the accident with Jackie Chiles (Phil Morris) representing them both, and only Jerry may stand in the way, for he earlier took a fancy at Sue Ellen following the accident. Jerry met Sue Ellen and fell for her. Meanwhile Mr Peterman (John O'Hurley) has fallen for the idea of using a bra as a top (after having seen Aue Ellen) and now wants Elaine to write a piece on it for his new catalog.
At the trial, Jerry nevertheless admits (albeit reluctantly) that it was indeed Sue Ellen the cause of the accident. Just as the trial is about to end, with Kramer and Elaine as apparent victors, Stan tells Kramer to get Sue Ellen to try on the bra to see if it fits. Chiles refuses this idea, but Kramer insists that he (Chiles) ask the judge for her to wear the bra to see if it fits. She tries, but the bra doesn't fit, thus costing Kramer and Elaine the trial and greatly upsetting Chiles', who insists (and compares) that it was futile for Sue Ellen to wear a bra over her clothes ("A bra's got to fit right up against a person's skin, like a glove!")
Following the trial, Elaine's female co-workers are starting to wear their bras with no tops, making Elaine all the more miserable.
