An ordinary decent western episode.

As far as I know, Robert Florey has not made any westerns in his classic films career, but perhaps I am wrong. He only made film noirs, horror and dramas, or adventures. I won't enumerate em all, but every movie buff - old classics, I mean - knows MURDERS IN THE RUE MORGUE, FACE BEHIND THE MASK, BEAST WITH FIVE FINGERS, ROGUE'S REGIMENT...

Well, back to this TV show episode, I was disappointed. There is nothing special in this story of Payne fighting against bad guys who threat his old friend William Hopper. Nothing at all. I noticed nothing that could remind me a Florey's touch, as I could expect from a Jacques Tourneur in another TV show... Filming, cameras angles for shooting, even the story...

But it's worthwhile if you can catch it...
