Trivia

The 1987-1988 season premiere is the only show to not have a dress rehearsal done before the live show. There was a fire in a nearby studio and the cast and crew were evacuated from Rockefeller Center right before they were to start the dress rehearsal. The show went on at host Steve Martin's insistence. See more »
