Quotes

Fred G. Sanford: [Reading a get well card from Grady] Dear Fred, I'm very proud of you. You just go ahead and testify. Good conquers evil and right makes might. Nothing will happen to you. P.S. Can I have your color T.V. after they rub you out?

Protective custody
9 December 2016 | by kevin olzakSee all my reviews

"The Oddfather" was a rare episode minus Demond Wilson, as Lamont is away making a pick up in Bakersfield. Fred's big toe has been run over by gangsters out to kill him before he can identify a murderer named Daniel Tracy (Paul Harris), the only man to see the crime committed. Hardly safe in his hospital bed, surrounded by cops (including Smitty and Hoppy) and his loving Donna, he can't even trust a pretty nurse (Gloria Delaney) delivering a ticking time bomb! A sympathetic Aunt Esther makes her presence felt, especially when she complains about her hardware store being robbed. Since Fred's main interest is the $25,000 reward for fingering the killer, she's come for her donation for the church. The ending isn't much of a surprise, par for the course.
