Storyline

Darlene comes home to try to convince her father to let David move back in the house "from Michigan", unsuccessfully. After catching David making out with Darlene in the basement, Dan finds out that his family lied to him again: not only did David not go his mom's in Michigan when Dan threw him out, but he was staying with Jackie--and Roseanne was responsible. Darlene joins David at Jackie's to get away from her furious father. Jackie gets irritated when people keep asking her to leave the room, in her own house, when they want to talk out their problems. Trivia

In the first episode featuring David Healy, he is introduced as Kevin Healy. However, in the episode "Everyone Comes to Jackie's", Roseanne says (speaking of Darlene's control over David), "David isn't even his real name - she just made that up!" On another episode, Darlene and David are filling out their college applications in the car, and Darlene points out that David left the space for his middle name blank. He admits that his middle name is Maurice. See more »

Goofs

When Jackie is talking to Roseanne about David thinking she came on to him, she referred to it as having happened last night. In the same scene, a few sentences later, she says that David hasn't showered in three days because of it, for fear she will try to walk in on him. See more »

Quotes

Becky Conner-Healy: [cracks up after hearing that David thought pregnant Jackie was trying to come on to him] That is soooo funny!... I mean, who would want to go to bed with some big ol' fat lady?
Darlene Conner: [a moment later, Darlene comes in the front door, hears the same story about David, and chuckles] Who'd want to sleep with some big ol' fat lady?
