Failed movie director Ted E. Peck (Simon Jones) has discovered an unfinished Rudolf Valentino film, and wants the WENN cast to dub voices to it to make a talkie. Calling the results "fantastic," he goes a step further and enlists Jeff Singer (Hugh O'Gorman) to play Valentino's part, so he can film the missing final reel. Peck promises Jeff he can look forward to a career in Hollywood if the movie is a success. Though the radio actors have difficulty adjusting to the demands of film, the production is almost finished when Jeff objects to Peck's inflexible direction, and quits. Peck finishes the remaining shots with a younger actor (Paul Rice) apprenticing at WENN, whom he anoints "The New Valentino."
