Quincy gets involved in the world of truckers and illegal toxic dumping when a driver with lung damage ends up in his morgue following an accident.
Did You Know?
Since they were both produced by Universal it no surprise that Quincy and The Rockford Files would share the same footage or sets. The footage of the semi- trailer running up the side of the hill before wrecking is the same footage used in The Rockford Files "Heartaches of a Fool" in 1978 (3 years before this). The inside of the roadside diner is the same one used in The Rockford Files "The Attractive Nuisance", also from three years before this. See more
The truck that Quincy gets into at the first truck stop is a Freight liner until we see him and Mrs. Cheznell from a close up from outside the truck, which turns into a White Freight liner. And yet when we see the truck at the second truck stop/diner where Quincy meets the other truck drivers the truck is back to the original truck again. See more
